Is CatchPets GO free?+
Yes, the core game is free. There are optional extras: the CatchPets PRO subscription (train 4 pets at once at the camp and earn aura 50% faster) and voluntary ads that give you bones.
What platforms is it on?+
Yes, on both: iOS on the App Store and Android on Google Play. Download it free directly from your store.
How does a scan work?+
Point your camera at a real dog, cat or bird. The AI detects it and cuts out its silhouette as a sticker. If nobody scanned it before, it's a DISCOVERY: it gets a name, rarity, tribe and powers, and your name is recorded forever as its discoverer. Max 1 card per animal per player.
What are food cans?+
Your capture resource: throw a can at an animal on the map to try to catch it (it can flee!). Cans refill on their own over time and you can also buy them from the wandering merchants.
What are the rarity levels?+
Five: Common (60%), Uncommon (25%), Rare (10%), Epic (4%) and Legendary (1%). Rarity is assigned by the server when the animal is discovered.
Are my photos and location protected?+
Yes. Only the cut-out silhouette of the animal is uploaded from your photos: no background, no people, no your home. Public positions are blurred to a ~150 m cell; your exact location is never shared.
What are the camp and aura?+
At the camp your pets train on their own (agility, strength, defense or meditation) and you earn aura: your trainer prestige, which never goes down. There are 8 ranks, from Spark to Aura Legend, with a colored halo visible on the map.
Do I need an Internet connection?+
Yes. The 3D map, PvP battles, teams with chat and capture validation all work online, and you need location enabled to play in your neighborhood.
